Kevin Rhodes

Kevin Rhodes began estate planning in 1977 as a financial planner and trust banker. After becoming a lawyer in 1985, he has limited his practice to estate, business succession, and tax planning, with a special emphasis on the planning needs of family businesses. He has lectured and written extensively on these topics for a wide variety of professional and non-professional audiences.
Kevin began his legal career with a large Denver law firm, and began his own firm in 1990. He serves clients in a wide variety of businesses and professions in several states. Kevin currently holds licenses to practice law in Colorado and Washington.
Kevin has a law degree and MBA from the University of Denver, having graduated from both programs with highest academic honors. His undergraduate degree is in English (literature and writing) from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he also graduated with honors.
Kevin and his wife Janet have been married since 1977. They have three teenage daughters, and enjoy living, skiing, biking, and hiking in the Colorado mountains.
Krystal Woodbury
Attorney at Law
Krystal Woodbury began her legal career in 1998 with Koch Industries, Inc., in the corporate tax department. In 1999, she began estate planning work with Kennedy and Coe, LLC, a regional accounting firm, and in 2000 she joined Kevin Rhodes’ law firm. She became a partner in January of 2006.
Krystal is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska, and holds a CPA license in Kansas. She practices in the areas of estate planning; probate, trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship; business reorganizations; and tax planning.
Krystal received her law degree and MBA from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, graduating with Dean’s Honors. She also received a Bachelors in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Economics, from Washburn University, graduating summa cum laude.
Krystal and her husband Matt have been married since 2003. They enjoy camping, traveling, and hiking.
